Kwun Tong is known for factories and offices, but the walk-ups are not in the industrial blocks by the waterfront. They are in the old town centre north of the MTR station. If you want to go up without booking, head for Mut Wah Street and Hong Ning Road: the listed addresses cluster on these two streets, and 金僑華廈 and 5–7 Mut Wah Street each hold several flats.

The walk from Kwun Tong station takes about six minutes. A few flats are closer to Ngau Tau Kok station, about seven minutes away; the map on each profile shows the nearest stop. Fewer than four in ten Kwun Tong girls work through the night, fewer than in Mong Kok or Wan Chai.
